Interested in auditioning for River Bend Bells?

Open auditions are normally held in April or May of each year!

Information about Auditions

A short test will be given on handbell notation (for help, see the AGEHR notational booklet.

There will also be group sight-reading as part of the audition. These auditions will provide an opportunity for both the director and those auditioning to become familiar with each individual’s handbell skills.

Requirements for Membership:

  • Must be 18 years of age.
  • Must be an experienced handbell ringer.
  • Must be willing to commit to 2 hours of rehearsal (6-8 p.m.) each Sunday night.
  • Must be an active participant in your church's music ministry.
  • Must be willing to take music home to prepare.
